About

From a very young age I've always loved to create. Be it drawing, coloring, building blocks--I was there.  About the age of 10 my grandma taught me how to create an actual piece of art. She was a self-taught oil painter, who created fantastic realistic landscapes. She was very patient, as oil paints and the short attention span of a 10-year-old do not mix. From there, a friend of mine's older brother taught me watercolor and inking. As time went on I tried many art mediums but seemed to gravitate towards sculpting and modeling.

When it comes to the subject of my artwork, I have always been everywhere and in between. Growing up in Colorado I've always loved nature, from the graceful flight of a red-tailed hawk, to the power of a jumping mountain lion, or the relaxing view of a rocky waterfall nestled in the tall trees. But I can get equally excited by seeing the spinning steel wheels of an old steam locomotive, the thousands of bolts in a metal bridge, or the intricate brick work of an early 20th century building.

I put this website together so that family and friends could see what I was up to. I look forward to sharing new work and will do my best to update this site regularly.
